Certification.wftda.org (the “Website”) is owned by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (the “WFTDA”).
WFTDA and its subsidiary companies respect the privacy rights of our online users and recognize the importance of protecting the information collected from you. We have adopted the following Online Privacy Policy that guides how we collect, store and use the information you provide online. Please note that this policy applies only to sites maintained by the WFTDA and its subsidiaries, and not to web sites maintained by other companies or organizations to which we link, including external companies which process payment information.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
The WFTDA collects various categories of your personal information which you consent by providing to us in order to: deliver you the product and services made available through this web site, to communicate with you, and to manage your registered user account. Specifically, WFTDA collects the categories of information listed below for the following purposes:
Demographics and Profile. WFTDA collects your name and email address, and billing information for the purpose of providing use of the website courses. We do not keep your payment information or have access to it once payment is completed. We may use your contact information to market to you, and provide you with information about, our products. In addition, the WFTDA will keep any of the additional information you provide in your profile such as company, professional title, time zone, profile photo, and preferred language. By providing your personal information for use of the site, you have consented to the WFTDA storing the information you have provided.
Courses Completed: The WFTDA will keep track of the courses you have completed for verification by the WFTDA for participation in WFTDA events and opportunities. WFTDA Online Learning will share your course progress and completion, and your results with Reviewers who will have access to this information.
Log Data: When you visit the Site, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website as Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, the websites you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. For most users accessing the Internet from an Internet service provider the IP address will be different every time you log on. We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Site and of our Service, and for the Site’s technical administration. We do not associate your IP address with any other personally identifiable information to identify you personally, except in case of violation of the Terms of Service.
Cookies: We use cookies and other technologies to passively collect demographic information, personalize your experience on our site and monitor advertisements and other activities. Cookies are small files downloaded to your computer to track movements within web sites. We may link cookie information to personal information. Cookies link to information regarding what items you have selected for purchase at our store or pages you have viewed. This information is used to keep track of your shopping cart. Other Technologies: Other technologies used include clear GIFs and IP address logging. Clear GIFs also known as web bugs, beacons or tags, are small graphic images placed on a web page, web-based document, or in an e-mail message. Clear GIFs are invisible to the user because they are typically very small (only 1-by-1 pixel) and the same color as the background of the web page, document or e-mail message. We do not use clear GIFs to collect personal information about you. However, we may use clear GIFs to capture statistical usage information for our web pages, features or other elements on a web page. We may correlate this information to a user to personalize user experience and for statistical analysis of user experiences on our web pages.

The WFTDA does not sell your personal information to third parties.
Minors: By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, country or province of residence. If you are below the age of majority, you must provide contact information for your parental authority and they will need to separately consent to your use of this website, and may revoke that consent at any time prior to reaching the age of majority. The WFTDA may remove all information provided by a minor who has not complied with obtaining parental authority consent. Service Providers: We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. Specifically, Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”) provides us with the online course creation platform that allow us to provide the online learning management system. Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and general Thinkific application. Thinkific stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall. We will only share your personally identifiable information with Thinkific, to the extent it is necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations. Payment: If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. The WFTDA will not store your payment information.
Law Enforcement: We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of the WFTDA or its subsidiaries, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
NO DISCRIMINATION
The WFTDA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or disability. The WFTDA does not discriminate on the basis of invoking any right to privacy which you may be entitled by the laws of your region.
